BSL Comércio Internacional, S.A. was established in 1992. It is a familiar Company, with EUR 50.000,00 of Capital.
Mr. Jose Bernardino Estima dos Reis is the General Manager, with a Economic and Law degree, obtained in the Faculty of Economics of Oporto and in the Faculty of  Law in Coimbra, respectively. 10 people compose the BSL S.A. staff, all of them working in the different areas in which BSL S.A. is involved.

Activity

BSL S.A. is a Trading company, trading with wood, woodchips, steel products, textile products and cement. Business connections have been established in Spain, France, Turkey, Germany, Ukraine, Russian, Sweden, Finland and Estonia among others. BSL S.A. exports wood to Spain, France and Maroc, and woodchips to Italy. Steel products are imported from Ukraine, Russian and Turkey. Cement is imported from Turkey and Tunes.
BSL S.A. competitive advantage is built upon its logistics capabilities. Specially on the maritime transport, due to a joint venture with an important German Group, MTL – Maritime Transport Logistic, as well as with Intersee, also a German Company.

The BSL S.A. philosophy is sustained in customers and suppliers satisfaction, apart from their nationality or business volume. The excellent reputation BSL S.A. has, both with Customers and Suppliers, lays on the rigour and strict performance of its main purposes, together with the dynamic way of searching new and competitive markets, allowing the increase of business affairs and the development of the country.

Future

BSL S.A. is developing business in new markets, namely in the Far East and Africa (Angola, Cabo Verde, Equatorial Guinea, among others) and to America (Brazil, Argentine, Uruguay and US.)
